Description
White Linen Perfume by Estee Lauder, White Linen was introduced in 1978. It is a light, refreshing and feminine scent that is perfect for wearing during the day. The brand envisions its wearer to be ‘fresh, crisp and clean’, and the perfume embodies this feeling. The top notes are tantalizing and consist of jasmine, Bulgarian Rose and muguet. The floral heart notes are orris and violet and the base notes are warm and lasting and comprise moss, vetiver and amber.
Estee Lauder was born in Queens, New York City in 1908. Her original name was Josephine Esther Mentzer but when she founded her company in 1946 she named it with her childhood nickname combined with her husband’s last name. The brand originally launched with just four skin care products for women. It soon expanded, selling its cosmetic and beauty products for men and women in department stores across the world. It launched its first fragrance in 1953.
