Loverdose made its debut on the fragrance market in 2011. Appropriately, its name combines the words “love” and “overdose.” That’s no surprise, given that it attracts wearers with a beautifully crafted heart-shaped purple jewel bottle and a seductive combination of soft, spicy, sweet, floral and powder accords. Opening notes include fragrant mandarin orange peppered with the distinctive bitter and licorice-like aroma of star anise. The sharp, pungent essence of licorice enhances floral notes of jasmine sambac and gardenia in the perfume’s heart.
