Spellbound Perfume by Estee Lauder, Spellbound is a fragrance that was launched in 1991, and is a refined, warm, and spicy, perfume for women. The scent opens with top notes of rose, citrus, and apricot. The heart of the fragrance is a blend of orange blossom, daffodil, carnation, and cardamom. At the base, notes of vetiver, vanilla, and amber can be found. The perfumer for this fragrance is Sophia Grojsman.

Estee Lauder Companies Inc. was founded by Joseph Lauder and his wife, Estée, for whom the company was named. With early experience with cosmetic and skincare products and a belief that every woman can be beautiful, the company began by offering its products through door knocking sales techniques. The company’s first retail location was a department store counter in Saks Fifth Avenue in 1948. A few years later in 1953, the company introduced Youth Dew, its first fragrance. The product was actually a bath oil which also doubled as a perfume. Although Mrs. Lauder passed in 2004, the company still remains with the family and continues her legacy.
